Team Arcis is the official Aero Design team of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bengaluru. (“ARCIS” stands for enlightenment in Sanskrit, reflecting our visionary approach to aero design.) We are a passionate group of undergraduate students committed to develop cutting-edge aircraft for the annual AIAA Design/Build/Fly competition. Since 2012, we have united diverse engineering disciplines, earning recognition as India’s top Aero Design team since 2015, with notable triumphs like first place in flight missions and third for our technical report at AIAA-DBF 2021 and third for our technical report at SAE International 2024. Our members have invaluable experience in conceptual design, aerodynamics, composite fabrication, structural and propulsive analysis, CAD, and RC flight. Together, we push boundaries, refine skills, and collaborate with the aim of advancing aeronautical excellence.
